Children more than 3 years of age:
2 NRTI (AZT/3TC or ABC/3TC if anaemia) + NVP. Regimens 2 and 0
Children less than 3 years of age:
2 NRTI (AZT/3TC) + LPVr. New Regimen 11.
Currently, LPVr is not available in our setting. If LPVr not available use the same regimen as for children more than 3 years of age.
It is recommended the decision to start treatment should be taken in clinic by one of the specialists.
